How to Invert Intervals, Intermediate Theory Exam
Working on an Intermediate Theory Exam? Learn how to answer interval questions and then invert them. Learn the basic rules with flashcards at the end of the video.
The Intermediate theory exam is now RCM level 6. Inverting simply means to change its position. For instance, if it’s a C chord the letters would be C-E-G. Inverting the chord means move the C from the root to another position. First inversion is E-G-C. Did you notice how the C is now on top. Or the position could be in second inversion G-C-E. Now the C is in the middle.
