These are not exams where the examiner makes faces at you or tries to imitate your characteristics.
Mock Exams are designed to simulate a real examination session, such as the student might experience when being examined by the Royal Conservatory of Music for a particular grade level certification.
The results of the in-house mock exam will almost always reflect exactly what the student’s RCM mark will be, within “3 points in or out”. It’s an accurate “snap-shot” of how well a student may do in their official exam.
However, in the unlikely event that the student is so ill-prepared as to fail the exam, the examiner will most definitely make faces at the student – usually a face of shock and disappointment! But that almost never happens.
