PLAY A BOARD GAME.
Students preparing for a piano exam tend to ignore the technical requirements such as the scales or chords that are required for each given grade. OR they practice the same ones they are comfortable with.
How does practicing boring scales and chords become fun?
I have found that using these BOARD games improved the student’s desire to play. I use a dice and wherever they land the scale or chord has to be played. Sometimes I have the student close their eyes and wherever they point, that is the scale or chord that has to be played.
For students who have problems with a specific question, the back of each board allows them to write out the the problem.
The BOARD games can either be used via a tablet or by printing and laminating them.
